Easter Family Fun

If you’re in the Tilden Park area, you and the kids can enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny throughout the month. A pre-purchased ticket gets you and the little ones access to a breakfast buffet, carousel rides, an Easter basket for the kids, and an egg hunt.

At the end of the month, San Mateo’s Eggstravaganza makes a full day of Easter activities. There’s a costume contest, egg hunts separated by ages, parade, puppets, and pictures with the Bunny himself.

Don’t forget to check out what’s going on at your local community center! You’ll find egg hunts, dying, photo ops, and more right in your own backyard.

All About Eggs

One of the area’s biggest Easter egg events happens at Kapwa Gardens. With a petting zoo and beautiful garden scenery, anyone young or old can enjoy the Dye Hard Easter Egg Hunt and Festival. Dress to impress in your best tie dye!

You can go all-natural at the UC Botanical Gardens to learn all about dying eggs the natural way. See the beauty and resourcefulness of nature as you and the kids learn about how to dye eggs with food, plants, and more.

Run It Out

It just wouldn’t be a holiday in the Bay Area without 5ks, races, and other activities for those on the move. You’re invited to run – or hop – at Cupertino’s Big Bunny 5K, open to all ages. There’s also the Easter Hop races in San Francisco, the Hope Easter Run put on by the San Francisco Bay Trail Project, and many more. Whether you’re a serious marathon runner or just looking to get outside, there’s plenty of 5Ks and races that are right for you.

The Carnamic team hopes that you enjoy the coming spring and Easter activities! Feel free to share your Easter ideas and spread the spring cheer.
