The four-cylinder engine is available in both FWD and AWD in either 2.5L and 2.5Turbo. With both towing and open cargo capabilities, the 2.5L Turbo provides more power at 281hp, a considerable upgrade from the 2.5L at 191. However, the smaller size and lower stature make for easier handling and maneuverability, giving the Santa Cruz an advantage over other SUVs and trucks. Depending on your towing needs, each engine provides between 3,500-5,000 lbs of towing capacity.
Interior and Tech
Don’t let the rugged exterior fool you; Hyundai put everything into making the Santa Cruz’s interior’s comfort and style. You’ll find stain and odor resistant cloth seating at most trim levels, with leather available only on the highest.
