Trees on Tree Farm

There’s just something about a fresh, real Christmas tree that we love. The smell, the ambiance, and supporting a local business are just a few of the benefits of cutting your own Christmas tree. But where can you find a real tree to cut in the Bay Area? Here are some of our top picks that include some family fun to make a day out of your Christmas tree cutting.

Most tree farms in the Bay Area open the day after Thanksgiving, and getting there early will give you the best pick of a tree that your family will love. Best of all, there are several farms on this list that will get you out of the city and into nature while providing family-friendly fun and food.
